Just wanted to announce my exciting news! My book Learning At Home: A Mother's Guide To Homeschooling
is now available in Indonesia in a paperback version in the Indonesian language. I just received three copies of the
book ibuku guruku.
I was contacted by someone in Indonesia in March about translation rights. As you can imagine that was very exciting.
After some negotiations, we agreed on terms and now 2000 copies are in print in that country.
The person who started the procedure was in Japan with her husband for a year. While she was in Japan, she ordered
and read a number of books about homeschooling. She liked mine the best, so when she returned to Indonesia, she found
an Indonesian publisher willing to translate and print my book.
The translator lives in the same town in Indonesia where my father was born - a full circle. I only wish my father
was still alive so that he could read the book to me.
