The best things about teaching baby and parent classes are the giggles and smiles that I see on the faces of both parents and children. I've been working with babies and children as a teacher, mother, children's entertainer, and parent educator for the last 40 years. It's fun!
Babies
respond positively to my soothing singing voice, my smiles, and my
puppets. I love watching them respond to the songs and fingerplays we
do together. Parents/caregivers enjoy learning new material to use
with their children. Librarians/educators gain new material to add to
their repertoire. And the babies have the most fun as we play and sing
together in a safe and positive environment.

Sing, Play, And Learn With Your Toddler
for babies 9 – 24 months
Tuesdays 10:15 AM – 11:00 AM
Sept. 22- Nov. 10, 2009 - at STAGES Performing Arts School
$80 for 8 classes plus a $5.00 per family registration fee
Learn new songs, practice old ones, and engage your toddler in some fun bouncy rhymes and songs. You’ll learn fingerplays and rhymes appropriate to the season.
Our discussion topic will focus on the developmental changes that the toddler years bring, and how to set appropriate boundaries that support toddlers’ growth and development. Handouts provided.

Massage, Sing and Have Fun With Your Baby
for babies 2 weeks (healed umbilicus) to crawling

Want to learn how to massage your baby? Meet other parents? Learn more about your baby’s development? Learn new songs and lullabies? Join me and discover the benefits of massage, song and rhythmic play for your baby and you.
Learn a basic massage routine, songs to accompany the strokes, and engage in a discussion of child development. Learn new songs, lullabies, and fingerplays. Have fun while your baby receives the benefits of a massage.
Daily massage practice is encouraged. Babies who are massaged on a daily basis have been shown to have fewer upper respiratory infections. Please bring a blanket for your baby to lie on during massage. Handouts provided.
