The Marsh and Pond Habitat comes with two
white ducks and two turtles. The ducks and turtles are approx. 1-1.5"
long. The pond is contained by a dirt wall in the back and some rocks
on the side and comes from the marsh. The marsh has some cattail
plants and a few rocks for turtles to climb. There is green grass
along the edges of the pond.
It would make a lovely gift for a child or family that likes ponds and ducks.
After I made the little animals, I held them in my hands for a while
filling them with good wishes and a happy life. The scene can be used
for a nature table or for a decoration.
The mat is approx. 13" long by about 11" wide and 2" high.
Not suitable for children under 3, recommended for children 5 and up.
The ducks and turtles are a perfect size for cat toys, so please keep out of the reach of your pets.
It took me approximately 15 hours to create this Enchanted Forest
using wet felting and needle felting techniques sitting outside on
sunny September days and inside in the evenings. All natural materials
- 100% wool roving.
